Take Part in the Harborough Lotto
We have launched our Harborough Lotto page. You can win prizes of up to £25,000 and also help us in the process!
50% of ticket sales from our page go to us and another 10% to other good causes in the Harborough district. This money can then be used by us to help rescue, rehabilitate and release British wildlife.
Tickets are only £1 per week and can be purchased by following this link.
Items Needed
We are always in need of various items to help feed and care for the wildlife at our centre.
Particular items that we regularly use are:
- Strong black bin liners
- Washing up liquid
- Meaty loaf cat/dog food
- Meaty cat biscuits
- Bird seed
- Newspapers
- Clean towels and fleece blankets
- Kitchen towels
We also have an amazon wishlist which has the most up to date information on the items which we are most in need of. Please sort the list by priority high to low to see what we require the most.
Alternatively, we regularly order from Welland Valley Feeds in Market Harborough. They have a list of the items we use so that you are able to call (01858 461 463) or visit them directly to place an order that gets sent straight to us.
Volunteer with us
We rely on volunteers every day to help us look after the wildlife in our care, to maintain our buildings and gardens, and to help raise vital funds for us.
Due to insurance reasons, we can only take on volunteers that are over the age of 16.
Students who are required to complete work experience hours as part of their course are able to do that with us but spaces are limited and commitment must be to a full day.
If you are interested in volunteering, please download an application form by clicking here and email it back to us. We will then be in touch to arrange this with you dependent upon our availability.
